Casey Caywood has been the Chairman of the Wyoming FCCLA Board of Directors since July 2018. Casey’s past with FCCLA runs deep, but the highlights have been being the state public relations officer in 2014-2015, attending nationals all four years of high school, judging at state conventions, and now being an alumni and associate. Currently, Casey resides in Missoula, Montana and works for Hub International. In Casey’s spare time he’s found at the ice rink fulfilling his obligation as USA Hockey’s Northern Plains District Evaluation Coordinator for officials. One of his greatest aspirations is to constantly give back to organizations that have shaped him into who he is today. He is honored to give back to Wyoming FCCLA by serving on the Board of Directors!
Patrick White received an Associates degree in Culinary Arts from Aguste Escoffier. Patrick has been a part of FCCLA since high school going to nationals 3 years in a row and continued during college as a judge during competitions. He also enjoys running and judging state culinary competitions. After college he worked st the broadmoor as a breakfast cook, after that he now works for sodexo. He has been working to help people improve their skills as a chef, baker, or business person. He is excited to be a part of the FCCLA board and is ready to help so many more students with their future though this program!
Angela Sweep received a bachelors in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from the University of Wyoming. Immediately after graduation, she taught FACS at Borah High School in Boise, ID. There, she started an FCCLA chapter and had many wonderful experiences in the classroom and with the FCCLA organization. Angela and her husband, Justin, now live in Mountain View, WY with their three children; Caden, Jaxon and Addelyn. Angela now teaches FACS part time at Lyman High School, coaches volleyball and is active in many community organizations and events. As The State Adviser for FCCLA, Angela loves the opportunity to work with FCCLA chapters around the state and the connections to National FCCLA. To see first hand the wonderful things that youth are doing is very rewarding!
Patty Micheli has been a lifelong Family and Consumer Science advocate! Her experiences include teaching high school, middle school, and extension. Her expertise from nineteen years as the State FCCLA Adviser brings so much to the board of directors! Patty has eight children and 32 grandchildren. She and her husband, Ron, live on their family ranch in Ft. Bridger, Wyoming.
Paul is originally from Cheyenne, and joined his high school’s FCCLA chapter as a sophomore. He then moved on to the University of Wyoming where he received his Bachelors of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with emphasis in textiles and merchandising and apparel design.
He now runs his own design and alteration business and teaches private sewing lessons.
Paul is looking forward to continuing his work with FCCLA and keeping the passion and love for fashion and design alive in the program.
Colby grew up in a small community being involved in a variety of school activities, including FFA and FBLA. He has always had a love for student run organizations and is thrilled to be a part of FCCLA. Colby earned his Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Special Education and a Master’s of Education from Southern Utah University. He earned his doctoral degree in Education Leadership from Idaho State University. Colby taught special education at Cedar High School, served as principal at Challis Elementary School, and superintendent of schools in Challis, Idaho and Lyman, Wyoming. Colby is currently serving as the Managing Director for the Trustees Education Initiative in the College of Education at the University of Wyoming. One of his greatest passions is supporting public education teachers and students and is looking forward to the work of Wyoming FCCLA.
Domenic, in high school and in his professional life has been involved with organizations like DECA and the Certified Public Manager program and is excited to be a part of FCCLA. Domenic earned his Bachelors of Science in Natural Resource Management and a Master’s of Science from Slippery Rock University. Domenic spent 20+ years working in state parks in Colorado, Nevada and Wyoming with 11 of those years as the state park director in Wyoming. Domenic served as a professor for a brief stint at the University of Wyoming in the Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Management program and now is the CEO for Visit Cheyenne and Cheyenne DDA.
Rhianne is currently a college student at Arizona State studying elementary education and working at starbucks. Rhianne participated in FCCLA all four years of high school. She was a 3 time gold medalist and a silver medalist. In her free time Rhianne loves to spend time in the Wyoming mountains. Rhianne hopes to graduate and move to Sheridan Wy and get a job as an elementary teacher
